Scary Movie? (I know it's been asked before, but..)?

OK! So I have been craving a SCARY movie lately, but it seems likes I
can't find any that actually are scary. OTHER THAN THE EXORCIST
(which I won't watch due to religious views) are there any completely
scary movies I should see? A scary movie that is GENUINELY scary.

The Grudge is not scary... just saying. People need to stop saying it
is... haha.

Also, I don't care if the movie is foreign. As long as I have
subtitles, I'll be fine.

It would be nice if it wasn't too gory..

Paranormal Activity is lame also.

And so is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Bleh.
The Ring was actually pretty OK but I've already seen it.

A Haunting in Connecticut isn't really what I'm looking for.

I'll have to check out Jacob's Ladder! I think I'll try to watch it
tonight on Veoh or something :)
I have yet to see The Blair Witch Project but nearly everyone I know
that has seen it says it's dumb..
